Bingo is scheduled for Friday, June 24 2011 from 7pm until 9pm. at the clubhouse. Cards are $1.00 apiece for each game. Great prizes and jackpot. Light snacks and drinks will be provided. Please RSVP at 407-327-0640 Annual Community Picnic was a huge success. Many Highlands’ residents enjoyed an afternoon social until the rains arrived around 3:30 and everyone scattered. Thanks to the pool attendants and volunteers. The children enjoyed the swimming pool, an obstacle style bounce house, free snow cones and a DeeJay who provided music and games. ARB – forms are available in the clubhouse for any type of addition or repaint project, even if you are painting the same color. The ARB meets the third Thursday of each month. If you are considering cutting down any trees, please refer to the City of Winter Springs Arborist at 407-327-1800 Mike Mingea. Pool Hours – 8:30 am to 8:30 pm from May 20th to August 1st. School is officially closed for the summer. Please refer to the posted pool rules. Fence jumpers will be automatically ejected from the pool. No one will be admitted to the pool without his or her pool pass. Please welcome our pool attendants; Gloria, Ace and Gloria’s husband Neil. They will in attendance daily from 11am to 8:30pm. Please get together your belongings each day 15 minutes before close of the pool in order to allow the attendants to perform their closing procedures. Lawn Maintenance – Please take the time now to trim back any tree limbs that are dying or hanging over your home. Hurricane season has begun. Properly maintain your lawn including mowing, pesticide, fertilization and irrigation to ensure that your lawn makes it through the drought times that may incur this summer. We so depend on the daily rains during the rainy season but the lawns still need help from us!
